Kokosing Alberici LLC, Westerville, Ohio, was awarded a $111,259,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of new upstream approach walls at the Soo Lock Complex, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 16, 2023. Fiscal 2020 civil construction funds in the amount of $111,259,000 were obligated at the time of the award.
